OPEN DAY EVERY DAY

Have you considered enrolling your family at school?

Myrrhee Primary School is part of the vibrant King Valley Primary Schools Cluster. Our aim is to provide an outstanding education within a supportive and caring environment that makes children passionate about learning for the rest of their lives. We are a small school that can offer our children dedicated attention as well as all the benefits, via the cluster, of a larger schools curriculum support and resources. Our ‘enlarged family’ environment means that parents, staff and students always feel at home, informed and empowered.

At Myrrhee Primary School we have an integrated approach to curriculum with a strong emphasis on the teaching and learning of English and Maths. This integrated approach provides the stimulus, links and contexts for development in learning. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills are integral to our programs with a ratio of 1:1 computers accessible to students at all times as a learning tool. The French language is integrated in our daily classes with formal lessons being taught 3 times per week. Our classroom teacher Cate Geard is a fluent french speaker. Singing is taught on a fortnightly basis by Carol Kunert our A Capella tutor.
Our staff comprises two teachers as well as support staff.  Support staff consists of visiting Art and Library Teachers, as well as Technology and Administration support staff.

Our school bus travels to and from Wangaratta each day and currently has places available available for students of parents wanting to share our vision. Please feel free to contact Geoff, Robyn or Cate any day of the week.

We encourage you to arrange a visit, call us on (03) 5729 7524/ 0400 297 188 or email Myrrhee Primary School
